Why at the end of the solution would not be 2 square root of 3. Where did -4× squared. Root of 3 +6 come from?

Answer provided by our tutors

because 6 and 4 can not be combined. 4 is multiplying sq root of 3, and multiplication takes precedence over addition. The two terms left at the end are not like terms (one of them has sq root of 3 as a factor, the other one doesn't), so they can not be combined
