How come ≤ did not change to ≥ when -6 was moved to the other side of the equation (and changed to +6)?

"≤" will change to "≥" if we multiply both sides by negatuve number but in this case we are not doing that.
In this case we are just adding "6" to both sides (or moving "6" to the other side):
