I'm trying to find slope and y-intercept. I don't understand.

You are give the equation '5x-10y=20' that you need to rewrite it to slope and y-intercept form, that is, as :

y = mx + b, where ,m, is the slope of the line and 'b' is its y-intercept.

The way of solving is by moving the variable 'y' the left hand side of the equation and all the rest to the right hand side of the equation.

So, the slope is:

m = 1/2

y-intercept is

b = -2
