Can you explain rule (a/b*c)/D=ac/bd used in step 4 please? I can't really see how it goes from step 3 to step 4.

In this step:
you have to convert division into multiplication, bu reversing numerator and denominator of the second term. Since the second term isn't a fraction, you make it a fraction by 'adding' the denominator of '1'.
Once you reverse numerator and denominator, this 1 becomes numerator and the term itself (2x^2y^2) becomes the denominator
