I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the basics of www.softmath.com. I find solving equations really difficult. I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra classes. Can you guys suggest any online tool that can assist me with this subject?

Algebrator is a good software to solve www.softmath.com questions. It gives you step by step solutions along with explanations. I however would warn you not to just paste the answers from the software. It will not aid you in understanding the subject. Use it as a guide and solve the problems yourself as well.

I discovered a number of software programs that are appropriate. I checked them out. The Algebrator seemed to be the best suitable one for converting decimals, quadratic inequalities and adding fractions. It was also easy to work with. It took me step by step towards the answer rather than only giving the solution. That way I got to learn how to crack the problems too. By the time I was done with it, I had learnt how to crack the problems. I found them handy with Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Intermediate algebra which helped me in my algebra classes. May be, this is just what you need. Why not try this out?

A truly piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving perpendicular lines, greatest common factor and function domain. Just by typing in the problem from homeworkand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Basic Math and Algebra 1. I highly recommend the program.
