Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math tutor, because I've been having a lot of stress due to math homework lately. each time when I come home from school I spendall the afternoon with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain whether a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's really expensive, and who knows, maybe it's not even that good. Does anyone know anything about simplifying complex rational expressions that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding subtracting fractions, long division or adding numerators? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Dear Pal, don't get tensed. Check out http://www.doyourmath.com/adding-and-subtracting-fractions.html, http://www.doyourmath.com/factoring-expressions.html and http://www.doyourmath.com/solving-equations-containing-rational-expressions.html. There is a tool by name Algebrator available at all the three websites. This tool would give all the information that you would need on the topic Pre Algebra. But, ensure that you go through all the lessons carefully.

Algebrator really is a great piece of algebra software. I remember having difficulties with graphing parabolas, graphing circles and long division. By typing in the problem from homework and merely clicking Solve would give step by step solution to the math problem. It has been of great help through several College Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I seriously recommend the program.

I advise using Algebrator. It not only helps you with your math problems, but also gives all the necessary steps in detail so that you can enhance the understanding of the subject.
