real life application of a quadratic function

Does someone here know anything regarding real life application of a quadratic function? I’m a little puzzled and I don’t know how to finish my math homework about this topic. I tried looking all books about it that could help me figure things out but I don’t really get it. I’m having a hard time understanding it especially the topics sum of cubes, binomials and function range. It will take me days to answer my math homework if I can’t get any assistance. It would greatly help me if someone can suggest anything that can help me with my math homework.

Algebrator beyond doubt is a great piece of algebra software. I remember having problems with hyperbolas, least common denominator and equation properties. I remember having often faced difficulties with function range, solving a triangle and roots. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Pre Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 2. I greatly recommend the program.
