I just never seem to be able to solve a question without going wrong a couple of times times. Please do not tell me to take extra classes. They are expensive and I cannot afford them. Any other suggestion would be more than welcome.

I bought it some time back to help me with my Pre Algebra course and I can say that it was a good choice. There are so many demos given which you can browse through. You can also try out the questions related to algebraic signs and adding exponents by just typing them in. Algebrator provides detailed description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts very clear. I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.
