hard logarithmic equations

I am in desperate need of help in completing a homework in hard logarithmic equations. I need to submit it by next week and am having a tough time trying to figure out a few tricky problems. I tried some of the internet help sites but have not gotten much help so far. I would be really glad if anyone can assist me.

There used to be a time when those were the only ways out. But thanks to technology today, we have something known as the Algebrator!
