simplifying polynom

I am going to college now. As math has always been my weakness, I purchased the course books in advance. I am plan studying a handful of topics before the classes begin. Any kind of pointers would be much appreciated that could help me to start studying simplifying polynom myself.

You can find many links on the internet if you google the keyword simplifying polynom. Most of the information is however designed for the readers who already have some knowledge about this subject. If you are a complete novice, you should use Algebrator. Is it easy to understand and very useful too.

Algebrator is used by almost every student in our class. Most of the students in my class work part-time. Our teacher introduced this program to us and we all have been using it since then.

I remember having problems with triangle similarity, like denominators and difference of squares. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

Thanks guys for all your replies. I have got the Algebrator from http://www.doyourmath.com/factoring-trinomials-by-grouping.html. Just got it installed and started using it. Its terrific. The exercise problems can test the real expertise that we have on Intermediate algebra. I am thankful to you all!
