Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. With it you can solve various types of problems and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular answer. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on how do you use the casio calculator and I really enjoyed using it.

Solving equations at the end of the day seemed to be difficult for me at those times. A friend introduced Algebrator to me and since then I never had any problem solving my equations.

I have used it through several algebra classes – Algebra 1, Basic Math and Intermediate algebra. Just typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my algebra homework would be ready. I really recommend the program.
