Hello Math Gurus. Ever since I have started 5th grade equations at college I never seem to be able to understand it well. I am a topper at all the other sections, but this particular chapter seems to be my weak point. Can some one guide me in learning it properly?

What exactly don't you understand about 5th grade equations? I remember having problem with the same thing in College Algebra, so I think I could try to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should get Algebrator, that's what I did in my Intermediate algebra, and I have to say it's amazing! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can use it anytime you want. It's very easy to use it, even if you never ever had a similar software. I would advise you to buy it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

I second that. Algebrator has already helped me solving problems on 5th grade equations in the past, and certain that you would like it. I have never been to a good school, but all because of this software my math problem solving skills are as good as than students studying in one of those fancy schools.

Algebrator is a easy to use software and is surely worth a try. You will also find many interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math more fun.
