subtracting a positive

I have a test tomorrow afternoon. But I’m stuck with questions based on subtracting a positive. I’m having problems understanding algebraic signs and algebra formulas because I just can’t seem to figure out a way to crack problems based on them. I called my friends and I tried on the internet, but none of those activities did any good. I’m still trying but the time is short and I can’t seem to get things moving. Can somebody please show me the way? I really need some help from you people for tomorrows test. Please do reply.

I must agree that Algebrator is a cool thing and the best software of this kind you can get. I was astonished when after weeks of anger I simply typed in factoring polynomials and that was the end of my problems with math. It's also great that you can use the program for any level: I have been using it for several years now, I used it in Algebra 1 and in College Algebra also! Just try it and see it for yourself!

Is it really true that a program can do that? I don’t really know much anything about this Algebrator but I am really seeking for some assistance so would you mind sharing me where could I find that software? Is it downloadable over the World Wide Web? I’m hoping for your quick reply because I really need help badly.
