Guys, I am in need of assistance on simplifying expressions, equivalent fractions, logarithms and quadratic formula. Since I am a beginner to Algebra 1, I really want to learn the fundamentals of Intermediate algebra fully. Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can begin reading the basics? I have an exam next week.

Dear Friend, don't get tensed. Check out http://www.doyourmath.com/factoring-a-polynomial-completely.html, http://www.doyourmath.com/exponents.html and http://www.doyourmath.com/adding-and-subtracting-fractions-1.html. There is a software by name Algebrator offered at all the three sites. This tool would provide all the information that you would want on the title Pre Algebra. But, ensure that you read through all the lessons carefully.

Yes I agree, Algebrator is a really useful tool. I bought it a few months back and I can say that it is the reason I am passing my math class. I have recommended it to my friends and they too find it very useful. I strongly recommend it to help you with your math homework.

I would suggest using Algebrator. It not only helps you with your math problems, but also displays all the necessary steps in detail so that you can enhance the understanding of the subject.
