Can anybody help me? I have an algebra test coming up next week and I am totally confused. I need some help especially with some problems in homogeneous 2nd order ode non constant coefficients that are quite tricky. I don’t wish to go to any tutorial and I would greatly appreciate any help in this area. Thanks!

It always feels good when I hear that students are willing to put that extra effort into their studies. homogeneous 2nd order ode non constant coefficients is not a very difficult topic and you can easily do some initial preparation yourself. As a helping tool, I would advise that you get a copy of Algebrator. This software is quite handy when doing math yourself.

Visit http://www.doyourmath.com/factoring-a-difference-or-a-sum-of-two-cubes.html and you can get all the details about this tool. I would advice you to try it at least once. All it takes is few minutes to get familiar to the software.
