Our professor has asked us to figure them out ourselves and then present them to the entire class. I reckon that I will be chosen to do so. Please guide me!

This would help in finding out ways to hunt for a solution. Finding a tutor these days quickly enough and that too at a fee that you can afford can be a maddening task. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring tool but it provides solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this product is that it is very user friendly. There are several examples given under various topics which are quite useful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

Even I faced similar problems while solving x-intercept, long division and side-side-side similarity. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
